Barley grass. One tablet a day. Ninety days in a bottle.

Most barley grass is sold as a tub of powder you scoop, mix and drink. This is the same grass, pressed.

Four ingredients. Two are barley grass. The milled leaf and the pressed juice — first and second on the list.

The other two hold the tablet together. That is the entire formula, start to finish.

90 tablets, 90 days. Three months from one bottle.

Philippine FDA registered. A product of Taiwan.

₱8.88 a day. One tablet, a glass of water, done.

What's Inside

Barley Grass Powder

The young barley leaf, dried and milled whole — fibre included. First on the ingredient list.

Barley Grass Juice Powder

The pressed juice of young barley grass with the fibre removed, then dried. Second on the ingredient list.

Magnesium Stearate & Silicon Dioxide

The only two non-barley ingredients, both processing aids — an anti-adherent and an anti-caking agent. Listed last, after both barley fractions.

Who it is for

  • You want barley grass on its own — no added vitamins, minerals or branded extracts.
  • You'd rather read a four-line ingredient list than a twenty-line one.
  • You want barley grass in your routine without a scoop, a shaker and a rinse.
  • You want a three-month supply sitting in one bottle, not a monthly re-order.

How to consume

  1. 1 Take 1 tablet daily, or as recommended by a physician.
  2. 2 Take it with water, at whatever time of day you will actually remember. The label sets no required timing.
  3. 3 Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light, heat and moisture, and keep the bottle tightly closed.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Do not exceed the suggested daily intake of one tablet.
  • This is a food supplement with no approved therapeutic claims. It is not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet, and not a medicine.
  • Check the lot number and expiry date printed on the bottle before you start it, and keep the bottle out of reach of children.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many tablets are in a bottle, and how long does it last?
90 tablets. At the suggested one tablet a day, that is a 90-day supply — about three months from a single bottle.
What exactly is in it?
Four ingredients: barley grass powder, barley grass juice powder, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide. The last two are processing aids — an anti-adherent and an anti-caking agent — used in small amounts so the tablet can be pressed and stays free-flowing. Philippine FDA rules require ingredients to be listed heaviest first, so both barley fractions sit ahead of both aids.
What is the difference between the grass powder and the juice powder?
The grass powder is the whole young leaf, dried and milled, so it keeps the leaf's fibre. The juice powder is the pressed juice with the fibre removed, then dried. This tablet uses both.
Does the label say how many milligrams of barley grass are in each tablet?
No. The label declares a 200 mg tablet and lists the ingredients in order of weight, but it does not break out a milligram figure for each one. We have asked the supplier for a specification sheet and will publish the figure here once we have it in writing.
Is it gluten-free?
No. Barley is a gluten-containing grain, so this product is not suitable if you have coeliac disease or are avoiding gluten.
How is this different from Barley Pro?
Barley Pure is barley grass with nothing else added. Barley Pro is a bilayer tablet that also carries chlorella, Vitamin C, zinc, Vitamin D and several branded extracts. If you specifically want barley grass on its own, this is the one.
Where is it made?
The label declares it a product of Taiwan. The front of the pack also states that the barley grass itself is from New Zealand.
Is there a best time of day to take it?
The label does not specify one — it says one tablet daily. Pick a moment you will reliably remember, and take it with water.
